I made this necklace for a runway show on just before my birthday this year, and I love the way it turned out. Over 200 anodized aluminum leaves are individually woven together with anodized aluminum rings to form this necklace, and it's finished off with a pewter snake toggle clasp. The interconnected leaves remind me of reptilian scales, you can pretend you're a futuristic, sci-fi queen when you're wearing it... and you'll get all the attention. And you can wear this glamorous necklace while being eco-friendly. The necklace is made entirely out of aluminum, the only material that's 100% recyclable and endlessly recyclable. If you're ever tired of your necklace, you can drop it in the recycle bin, and the next day it could be a soda can. (Although I'd hope you give the necklace away if you're not interested in it anymore.) The collar is meant to be worn as a choker, and will fit up to a 15" neck. Adjustments can be made free of charge. Model photo courtesy of Eric M. Poders, North Shore Voice (www.northshorevoice.org).
