About Me

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Tameka studied Fashion Design @ Miami’s International University of Art & Design.  After graduating w/ a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, she decided to establish a women’s wear brand that represents her personal look and feel.  She wanted to create a brand that encompassed quality, comfort, class, and sex appeal.  Miami’s fashion market was full of sex appeal, however, lacking in the department of quality and class.  Therefore, she began her embark into the fashion industry w/ her original brand that consisted of her 4 factors.  “While in school I discovered my niche, for combining an urban & elegant feel to my garments.”  Hence, she developed the brand, Xquisite L’egance (Exquisite Elegance).
