My name is Mariana but nobody knows that. Everybody knows me as Marie, a brazilian crazy designer who loves to knit/crochet/sew and has a weird crush with wearing scarves and 80's. The highlights of my creations are knitwear, freeform crochet and jersey. I always try to make creative and comfortable clothes for modern individuals and I’m interest...

Sometimes fashion can be categorized as something too superficial, but I believe fashion can show what you have inside, for me is very important to develop fashion to strong and determined people. A fashion creation can come from everywhere, even a bad feeling or a chaotic situation. I believe is very important to a fashion designer to be authentic.

Creation Timeline

2005/2006

-Started to customize t-shirts and sell them at Mercado do Mundo Mix in São Paulo.

2007

-Selected as winner at "L'oreal Criando Moda" competition in São Paulo.

2008

- Winter fashion show provided by "L'oreal Criando Moda".
- On account of her performance at her first fashion show, was invited to a internship and worked for some months in Daslu, one of the biggest and richest brands in Brazil.
- Selected as newcomer designer at Rio Moda Hype, Fashion Rio.

2009

- Winter fashion show at Rio Moda Hype, Fashion Rio.
- Participated in "International Freeform Guild's show 4 seasons" as latin based representative.
- The book of the show was released containing one of her crochet freeforms on it.
- Her creation at "International Freeform Guild's show 4 seasons" was invited to be part of an exhibition that was held in Colorado (USA) at The San Luis Valley Folk Arts and Fiber Festival.
- Participated with 3 knitted looks in Fashion Mob (Casa de Criadores), Brazil.

2010:

-The Beginning of the accessories and jewelery project, been well accepted abroad.
- Released "Little Joys" project.
