How do I measure an item?

Bust/Chest

Measure from just under the armpit to the armpit on the other side.

Waist

This refers to the natural waist: the thinnest part of your mid-section. So for a dress, the thinnest part is the waistband area. For pants or skirts, this refers to the top of the garment.

Hip

Measure the widest part of a skirt or pants, below the waistband.

Length

For tops and dresses, measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the garment. For pants and skirts, this is the measurement from the waist to the bottom.

Inseam

This is a measurement for pants, and refers to the length from the crotch to bottom of pant leg.

Cozy up in this bold Hooded Coat! One of our warmest and most functional pieces in the collection!

Made from scratch using original Yellowcake design and patterns. Constructed from 100% wool and fully lined in a complimentary color. Large "kangaroo" like pockets run from the center waist to the lower side hip, complimenting the shape.

The silhouette of this garment is more fitted around the shoulders and bust and is blouson around the hips. The same silhouette is mimicked in the blouson of the sleeves, with fitted eased in caps and 3 large pleats at the base of the blouson sleeve hem and knit wrist cuffs to boot!

The coat closes in left of center with a zipper hidden by a placket that is held securely in place with 2 snaps at the neck and 2 snaps at the hem.

The silhouette and belt at the waist allow for room in sizing. Hitting at app. the mid to upper thigh-depending on height, with a wool band at the hem that hugs any shape nicely!
