Every once in a while, I'll tell you the story behind a piece - this is one of those times. I fell in love with the bead on the bottom of this piece when I saw, but I had no clue what to do with it. It sat on my table amid an array of components until I was in the middle of playing with another pair of earrings. When I looked down, that bead seemed to have nestled itself with the two with which it was placed. Topped with Swarovski crystal, followed by glass "opal" and then topaz nuggets, these earrings are an incredible mix of color and texture. They grow on me more and more every time I see them and I'm always reminded of those little villas in Venice....sounds like a great trip!
