Champagne Rosé is deeply colored, with a complex, refined fragrance mingling red fruit with very noble developing notes. When tasted, it reveals great structure and a remarkably long finish. Made only in exceptional or vintage years, this wine has the same vintage structure as Vintage, topped up with 10-15% red wine from the house vineyard at Bouzy. The Rosé goes well with spicy fish dishes, tuna sashimi, and fine meats. When mature, it's also excellent with game birds.
Veuve Clicquot was the first house to export a Rosé Champagne to Switzerland, in 1775. Matchless know-how has made it a house speciality and Veuve Clicquot has been making Rosé Champagnes in the great vintage years since the end of the 18th Century.
A tribute, nay, a toast to the house of Mdm Clicquot which produced such a lovely lovely champagne, which, in turn, inspired a neckpiece of the same name from Eclettica, The Atelier :)
Petite yet thoroughly red-carpet worthy, my Champagne Veuve Clicquot Rosé necklace is an aesthetic visual palette of fuchsia, pink and purple lightly tampered with hints of green and rose. All a-tangled, in perfectly orchestrated organized disarray, are picture pretty clusters of Rose Quartz, African Amethyst and Rainbow Fluorite. These buttery smooth Polished Briolettes are accented with absolute panache by subtle nuances of Pink Sapphire and Madagascar Ruby Rondelles. Here and there, glints of 18K Yellow Gold Filled Cubes echo the bubbly one has come to associate with, well, bubbly.
These are set upon a lush backdrop of 14K Rose Gold Filled Wire which is just too amazing to describe. It's the sort of salmon-esque pink with bits of rosey gold schiller shade that needs to be seen (and worn) in person to be implicitly appreciated.
Meant to be worn lithe and long, Champagne Veuve Clicquot Rosé measures approximately 23" with a focal drop of about 3" by 1.95" in diameter at her most curvaceous. All wires used are 14K Rose Gold Filled whilst the darling Toggle Clasp is 18K Yellow Gold Filled. Yes, you can SO totally customize the length :)
