Description:
This is a 7â bracelet made from size 6 clear seed beads and Tofutsies sock yarn. The focal bead is a 12mm silver lined glass bead surrounded by two silver tone bead caps. The bracelet is 12mm thick.
This is a soft bangle bracelet made with bead crochet and will have some stretching. Slight stretching is the nature of bead crochet, but because this bracelet has been reinforced, the stretching should be minimal. This brand of sock yarn has soysilk and chitin (made from crab and shrimp shells), making it naturally antibacterial and resistant to being wet. It will not be necessary to worry about getting this bracelet wet. Just gently squeeze out excess water with a towel and youâll be fine.
Soft bangles roll on to your hand so no clasp is needed. This bracelet will fit a wrist that is 6 ½â around or smaller.
Bead crochet is a very time consuming technique. This bracelet took 4+ hours to make and is one of a kind. Even though my house is not pet-free, my studio where I made all of my jewelry is. My house is also smoke free.
