This is a 6 ½â bracelet made from size 6 and 8 seed beads in pink, lavender, fuchsia and blue colors. The focal bead is a 14mm African trade bead surrounded by Bali Silver bead caps. The bracelet is 12mm thick.
This is a soft bangle bracelet made with bead crochet and will have some stretching. Slight stretching is the nature of bead crochet, but because this bracelet was made with c-lon cord, which is a nylon cord, the stretching should be minimal compared to bead crochet bracelets made with crochet cotton. Nylon thread will also last a lot longer than bracelets made of crochet cotton. It will not be necessary to worry about getting this bracelet wet.
Soft bangles roll on to your hand so no clasp is needed. This bracelet will fit a wrist that is 6 ¼â around or smaller.
Bead crochet is a very time consuming technique. This bracelet took 4+ hours to make and is one of a kind. Even though my house is not pet-free, my studio where I made all of my jewelry is. My house is also smoke free.
