How do I measure an item?

Bust/Chest

Measure from just under the armpit to the armpit on the other side.

Waist

This refers to the natural waist: the thinnest part of your mid-section. So for a dress, the thinnest part is the waistband area. For pants or skirts, this refers to the top of the garment.

Hip

Measure the widest part of a skirt or pants, below the waistband.

Length

For tops and dresses, measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the garment. For pants and skirts, this is the measurement from the waist to the bottom.

Inseam

This is a measurement for pants, and refers to the length from the crotch to bottom of pant leg.

This is a two piece set, a corset and skirt, when worn together make a gorgeous dress. I made the beautiful skirt out of fantastic gold brocade taffeta. It has a black velvet raised print. I gave it a high waist band and long back zip. The zipper is on the outside of the skirt and it is a "separating" zipper, which means you can fully up zip it. It looks so cool and gives a classic, formal skirt, a nice modern twist. Included in this set is the wonderful brown taffeta corset top. It laces up the back with ribbon and it therefore fully adjustable.

Would best fit a bust 32"-36:, the skirt has a 25" waist.
