This is advanced level project, although the instructions are very clear and thorough, and I've had many, many beginner to intermediate students successfully complete this project. It is 15 pages, with 43 clear photos, and a total size of 6.18MB. I love rings!!! I started making this design for me. I wanted something fancier and classier than the norm. After umpteen compliments on them, I started making them for my shop. And so after numerous requests, I’m proud to be able to offer this, my third tutorial. This design creates an elegant ring that people are amazed is wire wrapping, probably because it is not your traditional simple cab style. This is an advanced project, but I've had students of all skill levels successfully complete this project. I do suggest you have at least the basic skills and familiarity with wire wrapping before attempting this ring. Basic Materials Needed: 3" pattern wire 14" 22g square wire half hard 8" 18g 1/2 round half hard wire 8mm faceted round stone Basic Tools Needed: Ring mandrel, chain or flat nose pliers, round nose pliers, flush cutter, ruler - preferably in millimeters, felt tip marker (sharpie), masking or quilters tape. Optional: a small wooden dowel ¾” diameter. Don't have these materials readily available to you? I have complete kits available in my shop, which includes the basic 8mm stone, 3” of pattern wire, 24” of square wire, and 12” of ½ round wire. The extra wire is for slight variations, and/or boo boos.:) Also available fancier stone upgrades which equal the cost of the fancier stone minus the cost of a basic 8mm.
