Well this is a great place where I can get to see such a great mix of creatives, I would like to get some opinions if you don't mind.

So I design for tee shirts, any way I'm new and as such am bound to make a mistake from time to time.
Super new this is only my second year drawing for money. (I am still going to keep the day job)

So when people ask me what I do.
I tell them I am a freelance graphic artist, then follow up with I design shirts.

I then often get the reply... You print shirts?
and I feel like a total retard when I tell people I just draw the stuff that goes on them.

If I could read minds I might imagine they are thinking. Oh so you don't make shirts.

Should a be considered an illustrator or a fashion designer.

If I were a fashion designer, the fabric choosing, pattern cutting, late night before the big show type I would think that shirt people should have no place in fashion whatsoever.

That might be a traditional sense, but we are living in untraditional times. Anyone who has ever gasped at the price tags, on some of the stuff at the local gallerys will tell you good art ain't cheap. What I like about shirts is that I can use that as my canvas, and offer something that normal working people can afford and enjoy. I'm no Mr. Money bags by any stretch, I'm just one dude that for some reason has a knack for drawing stuff.

So I've compleltley lost what I was getting at, can fashion and illustration co exist or am I just a big phonie.

I pay people to print stuff for me and then try and sell stuff on the internet, I would not call that a clothing line, but I'm trying.
I rely on clients and contest such as the ones here to fund my silly hobby. I'd like for it to be my "real job" some day.

Thanks for reading.

Also models how do you like to be aproched for jobs, what is a fair rate, If I were the client would I need to provide, transpertaion cost, houseing, food, photographer, hair and makeup, clothes of course  and all that. Can I just send you some shirts and tell you what I need and get a bill? Do I need to talk to an agent, will that agent take all your money, I want to hire a model, and support them not the fuckers that represent them, and don't really do any of the hard work.

For those fuckers I just mentioned. What can an agent really do for me, find jobs? I am super uneducated about what goes on in that area of the arts. sorry for my first reaction, I'm sure you are all worth every penny.
