So I'm not really sure I like it here anymore.  Seems like a website where everyone just votes everyone else's stuff down so theirs looks better.  If the voters are only voting to hype their stuff up, nothing worth any value will ever get seen or acknowledged, even if it's really worth it.  If people were voting how they actually felt instead of just 1's to lower your score, then maybe the site would make sense but as of right now theres really no way to win anyone over when everyone is only acting in their own best interest.  Please figure out a way to counteract/balance this by taking some sort of voting among your workers at UsTrendy.com. 

The reason I had posted this is because I just posted a garment for the weekly contest.  I hadn't voted for it and after maybe an hour of being up, it already had been voted to a 1 star item, even though this piece is very cute and fun.  I'm not a very conceited individual, trust me, but it's definitely being voted down just because people fear this competition.

And yet, I'm sitting at home in my house looking for jobs on the internet.  What is with this economy, people?  Can't a girl with a decent portfolio get a shot at a cool career? School prepared me, I just need the right opportunity.  I feel bad complaining though, because so many people are out of work and I only graduated on Sunday.  Still, for 3 solid months I have looking day in and day out for a job that I'm suited for.  Most of the job opportunities have come from StyleCareers and WWD.  I must've applied to atleast 50 places! Oh well, Jessica Gilford from UsTrendy sent me a sweet email about my designs that I have posted on carbon made, which led me to this website.  We'll see how it goes!
