I just wanted to drop you a note letting yo know that I will have handbags for sell soon.All bags are custom made and hand painted.  With my handbags, I was offered an opportunity to sell them in a store and Angela Davis (civil rights activists) now carries one. Keep a look out for them.

I am Jessica Fulks, also known as "J.Fulks".  My designs were always inspired by the urban hip hop's culture, art, and music as well as Europe's high fashion couture.  I moved from Houston, Texas at the age of two to Fayetteville, North Carolina where I was inspired by family, friends, and the urban culture.  As a child, art and creativity was always a part of my life.  My older brother taught me how to draw and I adopted my skills for craft work from my mother. My first exposure to any kind of sewing was at the age of 9 where I made pillows for my mother and grandmother out of old t-shirts. 

I started my college career in Zoology and later discovered my talent and passion for constructing clothing. It was no surprise that I changed my major to Textile Apparel Management: Fashion Development. Three weeks after I declared my new major, I started my own clothing line. Each garment was hand crafted and uniquely painted.   As of today, my clothing line can be seen on college and high school campuses from North Carolina to Virginia, Texas, South Carolina and Alabama.  My clothing company is named J.Fulks Originals after myself with three primary branches: J.Fulks Originals (urban), Lache' by J.Fulks (urban high fashion), and imageNATION(childrens).

After college I plan to seek a MBA in Fashion Design.  After obtaining my MBA and gaining more experience, I would love to start my own clothing company. My main goal is to become a world known fashion designer who brought the urban culture to the high fashion runways.
