What is your inspiration for designs that are being featured?
This collection was based on the inspiration from the postmodern movement, the artist of this movement seeks for contrast between different element and the distancing effect that results.

What drove you to choose fashion design and specifically starting your own design?
I'm passionate about fabric and accessories since my 6th grade. I learned to sew with my mother, who is definitely the greatest sewer in the world and I haven't stopped since then! I am a proud bachelor in fashion design and management, and graduated with a Major in fashion design from the Ecole supérieure de mode de Montreal. I worked in New York City and also within Montreal's fashion industry. I finally decided to start my own collection, Vicky Dubois Design and all my clothes and accessories are made with love, in Canada!
