California native Kami Shade’, grew up in Berkeley, California, just outside the San Francisco Bay Area, where she began establishing herself as a fashion designer in July of 2004. Growing up in a family that was successful in their own endeavors in the arts & entertainment industry, one could say that it was in Kami’s blood to have a passion of her own that would become successful.
Through her travels and experiences that expanded Kami’s knowledge and wealth of fashion, she applied all she learned into a line that shortly after being launched, coined her as a “local celebrity” in Berkeley, CA. Determined to bring her clothes to their greatest potential, Kami packed up her life and family and entered uncharted territories in Los Angeles in hopes of making her line a sensation for fashionastas worldwide.
Hard work certainly paid off. In one month after embarking on a new journey, Kami’s line had headlined in various Hollywood venues including fashion magazines such as Vogue, ELLE Magazine, and Lucky Magazine, notable fashion events, and news and television programs including NBC, MTV, BET, HBO and Style Network. Her gorgeous dresses can also been seen on her celebrity clients including Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Sharon Stone, The Pussy Cat Dolls, Danity Kane, Lauren Conrad, Jessica Alba, & more!
