Winter Accessories

As I sit here trapped in my dorm by the fantastical white blanket all over campus, I'm taken aback by the amazing beauty of snow. It's so pure, so fresh, so untouched. And yet, my mind still goes to fashion even while I'm trying to appreciate the natural wonders in life. I think of the awesome accessories I could be wearing if I was outside instead of how miraculous snow is. Headbands, mittens, scarves, hats....they all come to mind. But, of course, nothing basic. I want a bold headband with a large flower on it. Thick convertible mittens in a fun color to wear with a bell sleeved coat. Super soft and cozy light colored pashmina scarves, to take some edge away from the slouchy studded beanie I'm dying over. The options are abounding, and all I want to do is make snow angels while wearing my fashionable winter pieces with snowflakes getting caught on my eyelashes. For now, I'll just stay here with my laptop wearing fuzzy socks, staring out at the flakes tumbling down.
