Agnese Narnicka has wanted to be a designer since she was 13 years old. After continually spending her days sketching costumes, she realized that there could be no better profession than a fashion designer. Her childhood dreams resulted in Hypnosis Fashion, a Latvian fashion design company where Agnese is the lead designer.

Agnese’s hometown is Riga, Latvia, a major port and industrial Baltic metropolis known for fabulous art nouveau and neoclassical architecture, where she designs clothing full-time in her studio.

Agnese feels it is important that the fashion industry does not become boring, and filled with redundancy. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in fashion design and specializes in modern looks, sportswear, urban glamour and elegant, up-to-the-minute styles. She strives to create original fashion with a strong character that will appeal to strong and romantic individuals.

Drawing inspiration from science, technology, street fashion and world cultures, Agnese’s designs showcase a unique and fashion forward look. With a design concept that reflects the exploding technology age, especially as it influences urban street fashion, Agnese can envision Johnny Depp wearing her designs. Her clothing reflects current international culture, with a glimpse of history and a vision to the future.

Agnese hopes to bring back the hat trend, particularly in men’s fashion. When designing, her fashion addiction is to change the image and concept of clothing. She believes that fashion design and choice should be intelligent, and she tries to create clothing elements that make sense.

She believes that every woman should own at least “one perfect small black dress” to wear. You’re sure to find one in the Hypnosis Fashion portfolio, which is featured on UsTrendy.

Agnese feels the toughest obstacles for fashion designers are mastering technical skills, conceptualism, and acquiring good drawing skills, along with maintaining perseverance. She ends with some insightful words for other designers:

Everyone should strive to find their style. Efforts should be made to create a fashion, not follow it.”
